almost home-bound

so i know it has been a while since i posted anything, and i have lots to tell (like paris--it was brilliant), but i have been on vacation.  like real, lazy, do-nothing-all-day vacation.  it has been wonderful.  i spent a week in luxembourg with my sweet ex-exchange student catherine and now i am back in england for a couple days with my ex-roommate kiri.  basically, my life has consisted of sleeping, eating, watching movies, and a little bit of shopping and wandering around fun european cities/towns.  i love it.  i haven't had a vacation like this in so so long!  and now i am getting really excited to go home...

oh sweet america, how much i miss you!  your bottomless diet cokes, fresh mexican food, and friendly, smiling faces.  what a joyful day it will be when i can pop into my car and drive myself where ever i want to.  there are so many other reasons too, but i will save that for later.  oh the comforts of home...only a few days away.
